About This Plant
Botanical name: Brachychiton rupestris
Also known as: Queensland Bottle Tree, Australian Bottle Tree
Brachychiton rupestris is a unique and striking tree native to Australia, famous for its swollen, bottle-shaped trunk that stores water. Its lush canopy of slender green leaves creates an impressive silhouette, while the trunk makes it both ornamental and functional in drought-prone landscapes. Known for resilience and adaptability, the bottle tree is a long-lived conversation piece that can be grown in large outdoor spaces or as a statement container plant when young.

So these have been popping off in interior spaces, and I was shocked how cheap these are here! I frequent other plant shops to browse and these have been the cheapest I have found. I can't help but take one home even though I don't need more plants. Lol. This is dangerous because now I will frequent here because I have a feeling this plant shop will be a hidden gem.
